[Activities] New to list -- hope I'm in the right place

I'm a 3rd-party activity developer (My OLPC handle is "davewa".).  I'm new to Python and new to Gtk and I'm looking for a place to get tips on the correct way to write in Python for the Gtk and Sugar APIs.  Is this an appropriate place to ask such questions?
