Hello,

My name is Samuel Sennott and I am new to the list. I am a special educator and assistive technology specialist. My work focuses on individuals with moderate to significant special needs, specifically augmentative communication. I have led special ed and inclusion programs in the States on the North Shore of Boston and in South Florida. I am a teacher and tech specialist at heart, but on Monday I start a research degree, a Ph.D. in Special Education at Penn State. I am excited to be a part of the list and look forward to contributing to OLPC and the deririvative projects that will launch in the US.
is for discussions of accessibility on the OLPC. With a target
audience of 1 billion children, ~10% of which have some sort of
disability, the OLPC project is contemplating serving 100,000,000 kids
with disabilities.

Initially we expect this to be a brainstorming list - thinking about
what is possible on the OLPC. Over time that will likely change to
discussions around work being done.
