[laptop-accessibility] [support-gang] Fwd: suggestions for children with disabilities?

Moving this discussion to the accessibility mailing list 
(support-gangers, please make your suggestions there - no reason for 
this to be private!)

There are some projects under development for kids with special needs - 
see Matt Barkau, Lisa Beal, and Tony Anderson's 
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/FreeIconToSpeech.

One thing we wanted to do at ILXO this summer but didn't get to is 
testing Activities for accessiblity-friendliness - see 
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/XO_Accessibility for a pretty messy stub. 
Where is the information request coming from? Maybe they could work with 
volunteers to review Activities and build that list.
