[laptop-accessibility] Totally new to the XO . . question about the neighborhood

The only X in my child's neighborhood is his . . .  how do you get to see/talk to others?  My parents got this laptop for him and they already opened it and were on it before I got a chance to see it, so I am not sure if there was something that I needed to do beforehand to get everything going or what?!?!  I am really lost with the whole concept and my parents bought it for him because they thought the whole idea was great (which I agree with), but they (nor I) have any idea what is going on with the laptop itself??  I have been on the website, but nowhere does it say how to see more X's on the screen?!?!  Am I missing something???
